# Directions:
01 - Whisk flour, sugar, yeast, and salt together in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine lukewarm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until a soft dough forms. Knead by hand or mixer for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.
02 - While dough rises, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, maple syrup, and salt. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring until mixture is smooth. Pour glaze evenly into a greased 9 by 13-inch baking dish and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
03 - Combine softened butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix into a smooth paste.
04 - Punch down risen dough and roll out on a lightly floured surface into a 12 by 16-inch rectangle. Spread filling evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Sprinkle finely chopped pecans atop filling. Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Cut into 12 equal rolls.
05 - Arrange rolls cut side down over the glaze in the prepared baking dish. Cover loosely and let rise at room temperature until puffy, about 30 minutes.
06 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 28 to 32 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving platter so the glaze and pecans top the buns.
07 - Serve the sticky buns warm and enjoy.
