# What You Need:
→ Butterfly Pea Flower Infusion
01 - 2 cups water
02 - 2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
→ Lemonade Base
03 - 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 3 to 4 lemons)
04 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar
05 - 2 cups cold water
→ Garnish & Ice
06 - Lemon slices, for garnish
07 - Ice cubes
# Directions:
01 - In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add dried butterfly pea flowers, and steep for 5 minutes until the water turns a vibrant blue. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and let the infusion cool.
02 - In a pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir thoroughly until the sugar has fully dissolved.
03 - Pour 2 cups of cold water into the lemon and sugar mixture in the pitcher, stirring to incorporate.
04 - Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and garnish each with fresh lemon slices.
05 - Divide the cooled butterfly pea flower infusion evenly among the prepared glasses.
06 - Slowly pour the lemonade over the blue infusion in each glass. Observe as the color transforms to purple or pink.
07 - Stir gently in each glass to combine the layers. Serve immediately while chilled.
